Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

It is CCLC’s desire to be in mission within our community and out into the world. CCLC members work together to support different mission projects within the church and we support many different missionaries. Everyone is welcome to be a part of mission!

Military Troop Support

Many family and friends are in active military service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Christ Community currently collects needed and wanted items requested by service men and women and ships care packages out once a month. Letters, magazines and Scripture lets of them know they are loved by their church family, community, and Christ.

Benevolence Garden

CCLC members David and LaLona McCready set aside 1 acre of their farmland for the Benevolence Garden. Members care for the garden from tilling through harvest. Produce is sold at the Farmer’s Market and at Canaga Tire. All proceeds go to support mission. Produce that is not sold during the week is given to those in need and/or community services like the Soup Kitchen.
